This month I want you to focus on mindful movement.
Why is this important and how can this help you achieve better fitness results and well-being?
The mindful movement will teach you to improve your body-mind connection – This means that you will be able to control the way your body move and you will have more control over it. Furthermore, you will have more effective workouts, and achieve even better fitness results.
Mindful movement will help you be more present – Being here in this moment is something we forget very often. This moment is all we have and all we can control, that is why we have to be focused on here and now.
Mindful movement helps release tension, stiffness, negative emotions – Body needs to move, and it feels the best when you are in motion. When you decide to forget your daily distractions, and start moving your body that instantly boosts your energy and improves your focus. Exercising improves your mood, so you get a boost of a positive feelings when you start moving.
Mindful movement continues even after your workout – Exercising is not only way to move mindfully. Moreover, breathing techniques and walking meditation are great ways to practice mindful movement. When you pay attention to your breath it helps you to refresh, refocus and be calm. In mindful walking you focus on the act of walking, feel the ground and bring sensation to the moment.
Mindful movement is the practice that can help you strengthen your mind and body. You become clear and calm when you enter the space beyond your busy life. You can practice mindfulness wherever and whenever. This can be you own space where you come to find focus and redirect your intention to things that are important to you.
Find time in your day to move your body, and don’t forget to bring mindfulness to your practice. Once you achieve that, you will enjoy your workout more and be able to coordinate your life goals.
