I started Pilatesness when I was pregnant with my second child.
I had an idea of having my own Pilates Studio and my own program to help other women to be their best and feel great in their own bodies.
I’m coming from the corporate world. I’m former marketing specialist with 17 years of experience.
It was not easy for me to balance work, motherhood, and take care of my body, to exercise daily or weekly.
If you are there now, I understand how you feel.
I understand how hard is for women to find the motivation to workout after long hours of work.
When you come back home from work you still have many tasks to finish, and you want as well to spend time with your family, see your friends and you have also housework to do.
So, it’s not easy to add workouts to your busy daily schedule.
What I tried to focus on when I was living that kind of life?
During that time the most important thing for me during the day was to finish my work and spend time with my family.

Because, if I exercise only 3 times per week, it should be the longer ones. It’s not enough to exercise only 30 min 3 times per week.
Instead of that, I tried to find at least 20 minutes each day. It was easier for me to schedule 20 min workout than 1 hour of any workout, any day.
That’s the reason why I choose to do 20 minutes every day instead of 1 hour or 1 hour and a half 3 times per week.
Not only that shorter workout routine is easier to incorporate into your daily schedule and plan. But also that helps you to create and build a habit to do your workout daily.
However, 20 min a day is much more effective and it’s better for your body and your physical form than exercising 3 days per week.
That’s pretty enough.
That’s how I found a way to exercise.
It’s not easy to find time to exercise and spend 1,5 hour, even if you have the motivation you don’t have time.
But, 20 minutes – you don’t actually need any motivation to do anything for 20 minutes.
You can do that in the morning. Just wake up 20 minutes earlier, do your workout and you can go to work and spend the rest of your day as usual.
So, for me, it was much easier to find 20 minutes than more. But I made a choice to do it every day.
And that’s what actually everyone in my family accepted and that became part of my life and my day. No one questioned that – me or my family members.
Their support helped me a lot to achieve my fitness goal and continue maintaining it.
