Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
Onion, 1 diced
Garlic, 2-3 gloves
Tomato, 1 can
Tomato puree, 1 cup
Maple syrup, 1 cup
Salt and pepper
Fresh basil chopped, a tablespoon
Extra basil and parmesan cheese
Make pasta according your package directions.
Fry onion and garlic on olive oil until lightly brown. Add can of tomato, and simmer for about 10 minutes.Add tomato puree and simmer for 50 minutes more.Add salt and pepper.
Mix pasta with sauce and serve with extra basil and Parmesan.
